She just no longer felt anything more for me, after 3 years of strong committment. We tried just running the clock, seeing if she would feel more for over a year, no good. And she finally admitted that she while she loved me, she didn't want to be in any relationship. She doesn't know when she will feel more for me. Do I wait it out? Talk more?

So we've broken up. Of course, she still wants to "be friends" and hang out. Don't know how that will work ... we didn't see that much of each other during the past year when we were 'boyfriend/girlfriend'. I am a bit bitter, angry even, but mostly sad. Lonely.

Domino's Pizza is forced by the US gov to deliver to the door in high crime areas. They got sued in Detroit and DC on racial grounds. This disregards the fact that it was black drivers who wouldn't go into black neighborhoods, or that in some areas the Post Office says crime is too high and they don't deliver there. Some folks had equated it to the same as the Jim Crow laws of yore, which in my opinion is total hogwash. Once again the cry of 'racism' is lessened for society. Yes there is racism, but this case wasn't an example of it. There are other things you can work on in your neighborhood to bring crime down.

Loretta Sanchez, to raise money for "Hispanic Unity USA" had scheduled a fundraising party at the Playboy Mansion. There will be no bunnies present, no lingerie. I still bet that if a Republican had such a funtion, NOW and all a manner of women's liberation/feminist groups would be protesting, "See, they dont respect women, that's why there is a glass ceiling," et al. But of course, since it is a Democrat, it's fine. "Misguided" or "Evil"? Hah, before you answer, lets get our tapdance shoes on.
On 8/10/2000, the DNC has revoked Sanchez's permit to speak at the Convention, and they might put sanctions on her future plitical career if she continues with the event. Of course, this is an example of the Democrats "inclusive and tolerant of other belief systems", right? This is acceptance and compassion, right? It isn't that case that inclusive means only some things.
And if Gore was so upset about having the event there, that it doesn't represent Democrats family value system, why accept money from Hefner and Playboy Enterprises? Gore said it was comparing Apples and Oranges, on FOX NEWS. Right, "It depends on your definition of 'IS', your honour."
And since the Democrats are so moral, why are the White House staffers getting in trouble for downloading porn onto White House computers? Well, remember that the Democrats feel they are the best to lead.
I only hope that if she does stick with it, that the DNC has the guts to stick with their policy to take her out of the DNC and the party. Personally, I think she must be committing political suicide. I have no idea what she's thinking.
